AW Chang Corporation believes in building connections with non-profits that align with our values. While we are currently in long term partnerships with Best Friends Animal Society and Coral Reef Alliance via our brands CON.STRUCT and Brooklyn Brigade respectively, we donate to several conferences/galas throughout the year.
In the latter half of 2021, AW Chang made donations valued at a total of $17,000 to the Global Lyme Alliance Global Gala, National LGBTQ Task Force Gala Auction and the Best Horse Practices Summit.
Global Lyme Alliance Global Gala: Global Lyme Alliance (GLA) is dedicated to accelerating the development of more effective methods of diagnosis and treatment of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases. The annual Gala, which took place on October 3rd, brings together some of the biggest and brightest names in entertainment to honor the global Lyme community, and raise critical funds.
National LGBTQ Task Force Gala: This gala pays tribute to the community leaders, allies, and organizations that fight for LGBTQ people through their leadership, advocacy, and action. In addition to this, the event raises essential funds for the local community. The 2021 edition took place on October 23rd in Miami, Florida.
Best Horse Practices Summit (BHPS): BHPS is a research-supported conference with the goal of improving horse-human connections. The summit strengthens links between equine research and horsemanship circles by highlighting the practical and academic strategies that make horses’ lives better. The event took place from October 29-31 in Lexington, Kentucky
