October 27 2020
AW Chang Corporation menswear brand, Society of Threads pivoted production to face masks earlier this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the brand’s unisex mask collection has been featured and praised on several publications for its style, comfort and more!
Here are some of the key attributes and features that have been noted across publications:
Stylish: People Magazine highlighted the stylish quality of these masks, showcasing the variety of patterns available including tie-dye, floral camo, polka dot, and rainbow. GQ also features Society of Threads as one of the “best stylish face masks.”
Comfortable: One BuzzFeed article highlights a customer review of our mask, solidifying Society of Threads’ spot in their list of the best places to buy masks online- “They were made out of comfortable material. The straps rested well on my ears unlike some other masks that are too tight and hurt the back of my ears after a few minutes. Nose piece fits snugly on my nose — not too tight, rests gently and comfortably. ” People Magazine added the masks to a list of the coziest and warmest masks for the winter, because of the nose wire’s ability to shape comfortably around the face.
Kid-Friendly: Parenting.com, known as the ultimate source for honest, mom-to-mom advice, information and inspiration named Society of Threads one of the best brands for the reusable face masks for kids and toddlers in 2020. The article mentions that the kids masks are “lightweight, breathable cotton and have a filter pocket, adjustable ear loops, and a nose bridge wire for added protection.” The masks were also included in the best kids face masks lists on Vogue, People and Real Simple.
Affordable: Society of Threads come in value packs of 3 cone masks or 6 pleated masks. Parenting.com notes “the six-pack gets you a real bang for your buck, making the price of each mask just over $4.” PopSugar agrees, calling the 6-pack “a great buy” in their article.
Gives Back: Society of Threads was listed in a Men’s Health article as well as a PopSugar article that both mentioned the top brands that are selling and donating face masks during the pandemic. For Summer 2020, Society of Threads launched #SOTMasks4Relief, a collaboration with Macy’s to donate 20,000 masks to Soles4Souls as part of the charity’s COVID-19 relief strategy.
